So GeeWiz is not the cheapest from what I can see, but they claim to know more about what they sell, and a test showed that they did deliver within their stated timelines. That in itself is a major move forward as South Africans have had to be used to 4 days to 7 or more days for local deliveries (excluding where you can go collect your item from a warehouse when item is in stock).
I’m not joking when I say I’ve had numerous deliveries from Amazon in the US that arrive quicker than Takealot’s deliveries within South Africa. I’ve made a point of only ordering from Takealot if the item is actually in stock by them.
So GeeWiz is a welcome addition to choices SA has for online e-commerce.
