For many the camera is their deciding factor of the choice of phone (yes most others tend to stick to a brand). It often just comes down to Samsung vs Apple, so this is interesting in that Xiaomi and OnePlus are also compared (both being very popular brands now).
But an important resource to also consult is DXOMARK which does a range of detailed standardised camera tests on most mobile phone cameras. I see they have published "The best ultra-premium smartphones for photography [Summer 2021]" where the Huawei P50 Pro comes out top in the benchmarking. But always also look at the type of test for the use-case you’d be using for your camera.
