Cardiogram - Android and iOS app for personal healthcare assistant across Android Wear OS, Garmin and Apple watches

Instead of just using your watch fitness app and losing that data when you switch watch brands, Cardiogram will collate health data from various brands of watch allowing you to switch brands and often retain all your health history.

It also gives a lot more insight into your data than many standard apps do:
• The Timeline tab shows your heart rate each day, with a detailed view for workouts and a special interface to track spikes related to stress, diet, or exercise.
• The Daily Leaderboard lens in the Timeline tab lets you compete steps and activity levels with your friends! You can invite friends who own an Apple Watch or Garmin, or even those who don't own an wearable device at all — this feature is compatible with the built-in Google Fit step tracker on your phone!
• The Metrics tab shows you how your resting heart rate and steps are trending over time.
• And the new Habits tab lets you find a new healthy habit or activity you'll love, invite a friend to share metrics, and optimize your overall health, sleep, stress, and fitness.
• Not only that, there's a larger purpose: you can share your health data with medical researchers, to contribute to studies on sleep apnea, diabetes, hypertension, or abnormal heart rhythms like atrial fibrillation.

Why not Fitbit? Well as I recall from hearing in developer forums Fitbit only shares very limited data via their API for developers and no live API data from the device. What a pity!

It'sd not perfect though as its sleep measurement seems to come from a rudimentary way the Apple watch figures out when it was last interacted with in the evening versus first used in the morning, and no Android detection for sleep - so it's not using auto-sleep detect as Fitbit does from movement.

But still, I like the aggregated approach across devices.
