We did this hike on 18 Jan 2014, but there is usually such a sunset hike every full moon of the month. This was Summer, and we started out at 18:00 and arrived at the top at about 19:30.

A hike up the front of Table Mountain. You can pay for a one-way ticket to come down by cable car (hiking up is easier on the joints than coming down).

This is a fairly flat walk from Kloof Nek along the Pipe Track that we hiked on 6 Dec 2009 – it took us a round trip time of about 6 hours, which included a picnic at the far end.
