I've been enjoying using the premium Pocket service for the last few years but recently heard about Wallabag as an open source alternative. I pay $30 per annum for Pocket mainly so I have permanent access to archived content (unless Pocket shuts down of course), I can do full text search, and Pocket suggests tags...
