If you still use Facebook this is an extension that should remove all (fake) news and the live ticker – the whole news feed actually – and replaces it with an inspiring quote instead. You will still see your friend’s updates because that is probably the only reason some still use Facebook.
PS: You won’t need this extension on many other social media sites as they tend not to push adverts and "news" into your home feed.
