Interesting to see Kodak invented the first digital camera in 1975 which also caused their demise as they never kept pace with its innovation after that.
I would have thought the compact disc (CD) itself would have been listed as it replaced the tape cassette (technically it is a compact laserdisc I suppose), and I certainly remember getting my first Sony Walkman soon after they came out.
