I just set up my Raspberry Pi weather station to use automated raspiBackup as another SD card failed today and the last image backup I did manually was about 2 months ago (because who regularly powers down their Pis and removes the SD cards to do an image backup?).
I’ve configured raspiBackup to backup to my NAS drive once a week and is using MSMTP mail service to alert me to any issues. Using raspiBackup from my Linux desktop, I can burn an image straight from that backup to a fresh SD card and just put it in the Pi for restoration of services.
