ActivityPub is a decentralized social networking protocol that links different social networks together, allowing posts, comments, likes etc to work between the networks. This means a user can join any node of any network and then follow anyone else on a different network. It gives freedom of association and also portability to the end user.
If you are involved in operating any form of social network this will probably be interesting to listen to. It’s virtual (accessible from anywhere) and takes place 2 – 5 Oct 2020. There is no registration fee.
