A Beautifully Illustrated Travel Guide On Flickr To Wonderful Second Life Locations — Teleport Links In Every Description

Second Life has hundreds of sims so a travel guide is a useful person to know or at least to follow. Anthony Gartner is just such a person. Posting single snaps as he travels from sim to sim, he gives you an idea of what you will see and he kindly provides a SLURL to each location.

I’ve not been on Second Life for a while but was a bit sad to see on my last visit, about three months back, that quite a few of the beautiful sim destinations I had visited and "photographed" had become derelict.

So it’s refreshing to see some really good-looking destinations catalogued with photos and easy to use teleport links to find them.

For those who don’t know, SL is a collection of virtual worlds that you can walk, fly, etc in and interact with objects. You create your avatar from easy menu options and can purchase (or sell) clothing, skins, vehicles/objects and even rent or create your own home to live in online. It is also sometimes used for simulation of emergency services, hospital admissions and other training scenarios, as well as for virtual conferences and other support groups. The link below will give a flavour of what can be experienced.
