It is designed to allow open sharing of local incidents for crime prevention and planning. It is a data aggregator to build a central database of trending crime. Information is public and provided freely to citizens, security, emergency services and the police.
I do like that they have also catered specifically for the Huawei App Store (knowing the South African situation) and also offer Android Play Store users the option of not using their Gmail account to login. It shows some attention was spent on user preferences.
It’s not an official crime reporting app to SAPS, It will however give you an instant view of what is being reported in your neighbourhood and could be used in conjunction with Community Police Forums, Neighbourhood Watches, and any Armed Response organisation.
