Google announces the availability of Android 9 Pie!
The new release seems a bit earlier than expected but Google's blog has announced its availability with an overview of some useful new tweaks (especially UI tweaks and battery management). I'm expecting to get my update during this week for my Pixel 2 XL so will probably do the install on Thursday or the weekend.
