These are lower resolution 480p suited to small screens and will not run on a TV (no TV license clever) and the R59pm option will run on a laptop (yes a laptop does display to a bigger screen).
Many of SA’s population only access the Internet via mobile devices so it will be interesting to see how this is received. It’s cheaper than a Spotify music account, and is month-to-month so no contracts.
It’s likely to also compete with Showmax streaming although Showmax does have more local SA content.
