Obsidian Systems goes wide open with Free Beer Session 23 on 31st Aug – And Will Live Stream Online
Free Beer Sessions is a trademark of Obsidian's offering to the market and is a recognised platform for in-depth discussion among stakeholders within South Africa's open source ecosystem. It raises issues, identifies opportunities and tackles the topics that continue to define this growing ecosystem.
Muggie van Staden, MD at Obsidian Systems, says, like all the other successful Free Beer Sessions, this event, its 23rd in the series, will again feature technology that really matters and will be live streamed to all outside of Johannesburg!
I've attended one of these sessions in Joburg a while back and really enjoyed the vibe amongst the open source community. You have to experience it to appreciate how different it is from normal "vendor events". The good news is they will be streaming the talks so I'll certainly be "attending" from Cape Town online!
