Oculus Go review: Finally, cheap and easy VR for everyone
The Oculus Go is the virtual reality headset we’ve been waiting for — not because it’s incredibly powerful, but because it’s inexpensive and easy to use. You won’t need to give up your phone or have a powerful computer to get this up and running. It’s still an investment at $200, but it has the best shot at getting average consumers into VR.
Yes you get cheaper that works using your phone but it is often cumbersome and actually difficult to use. The Go is wireless so the battery lasts 2 to 2,5 hours but I'd always recommend watching lots of review videos before making any decision to buy.
A key difference though from the expensive units is this is 3 degrees of movement vs 6 in the expensive units. So no expensive hardwrae needed in addition BUT you don't have forward/sideways/back spacial movement for your body.
