Profile-sync-daemon (psd) is a utility designed to manage your browser’s profile in RAM to speed it up, and to periodically sync it back to your physical disc

We spend so much time working within browsers nowadays that this could be a useful utility for Linux users to dramatically speed up their browsers. Just note the cautions such as backing up your browser profile before first use. There is workaround under Issues for Brave browser users too, so this would need to be applied for Brave users.

The management in RAM is accomplished via a symlinking step and an innovative use of rsync to maintain back-up and synchronization between the two. One of the major design goals of psd is a completely transparent user experience.
