Many Android smartphones come with a Setting widget built-in which can be used to add direct shortcut to desired settings on Home Screen but many mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung remove the preinstalled Setting widget from their mobile phone firmware.
Why would you want it? Well, if for example you want to often quickly check notifications’ history in the settings, it means opening Settings and then digging about 2 further levels to get there. Or maybe you want to quickly open the battery usage settings menu. This app is one tap and that desired settings screen is open.
What is really nice with this app, is that after you have set a shortcut on your homescreen, you can actually uninstall the app, and the shortcut remains there and works. I like, too, that you can set a custom icon and description, so you can also use this app to set custom app names and icons for existing apps (as a created shortcut) if your launcher does not support that function.
