Unnotification – Bring Back Notifications You Already Dismissed With an Android App
The idea behind Unnotification is simple. Every time you dismiss a notification on Android you’ll get a second alert asking if you want to undo that action. It also lets you blacklist other apps so you’re not constantly bombarded with messages from Unnotification.
If that’s still too much, an update to the app added the ability to remove those Unnotification entirely. Instead, you can pull down Android’s Quick Settings menu to find an undo button for your latest dismissed notification.
The only catch is that Unnotification can’t actually recall the original notification. Instead, it creates a barebones copy with the information you dismissed. So you can’t interact directly with the new notification, but it will tell you what app it was from and relay the message.
It is Oreo and above but I have posted previously about other notifications recording apps that should work for other versions still.
