UrBackup – Open Source client/server backup system that makes file and image backups while the system is running without interrupting current processes (Windows/Linux/FreeBSD)

UrBackup also continuously watches folders you want backed up in order to quickly find differences to previous backups. Because of that, incremental file backups are really fast.

Your files can be restored through the web interface, via the client or the Windows Explorer while the backups of drive volumes can be restored with a bootable CD or USB-Stick (bare metal restore).

The client apps will run on Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD. Server side it will run on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and several Linux based NAS systems (with Docker install available). Great thing is it can do even imaging while the machine is running so no downtime for this process. So with OMV NAS for example, it’s a quick Docker install.
