I have a Logitech C910 webcam which has wonderful Windows software to adjust the pan, tilt, zoom, etc while the camera is in use in my web browser during a video conference. There is no such software provided by Logitech for Linux but Simple UVC Viewer will let me achieve the same adjustments. The only downside is it can’t do it live while the camera is in use in the video conference but I could make all my adjustments while viewing what I see in this app, save that profile, and when opening in the web browser it used those settings.
However, you can run “guvcview-qt –control_panel” from the command line and a simpler panel will open that lets you make camera adjustments whilst using a 3rd party application.
