An interesting review that does show its still early days for this brand-new phone. The hardware looks really great (as well as an easily removable battery) but we certainly need more of these guys to iron out the niggles like easily plugging a USB hub in. Right now it will mainly be open source lovers who will love this phone for its total freedom to run an open Linux OS on it and execute upgrades by SSH’ing in from another computer… no clunky flashing of Google’s firmware here. No Android apps will run on this right now but you’ll also find no spyware on it.
I cannot wait to see updates around this phone in another 3 months or so. It may well be my next phone from 2021 onwards.
