This "phone" (or should I say camera) has some great stats at a pretty good price but also does go to show that you cannot judge on the figures alone. The test with the 108MP lens does show a lot of softening around the edges and cropping in on the photo loses more detail than you’d expect for 108MP. There are also issues with the night shots which does indicate some less than optimal software issues. Given that the sensor is a Samsung sensor I wonder if the softening issue is not a lens issue.
The important takeaway though is to always read multiple reviews and never to just judge based on the figures in specifications. If the camera is your primary requirement then also have a look at DXOMARK and similar specialised camera reviews (or buy a DSLR).
