Huami's Amazfit Bip review: A $99 smartwatch with GPS, heart rate monitor, touchscreen and up to 45 days battery life
Whilst it all looks amazing you do get what you pay for. And what you are not paying for is a hi-res screen, a fast GPS, and a non-lagging heart rate monitor.
It's not all bad though as the sensors etc do all work fine, just a little slowly, and that battery life is to die for. It is still pretty good value for only $99 though. Another interesting future is for it's Do Not Disturb mode, where you can put it in "auto" mode, which will automatically disable alerts after you fall asleep. Since the Bip can track sleep, it's useful to put DND on auto mode so late-night emails don't wake you up.
Just note though that if your medical insurance rewards you for exercising, always make sure that your fitness device is in fact supported/recognised by them before purchasing.
