The first electric MyCiTi bus glides through Cape Town streets
It's believed to be the first City running a battery-powered bus for public transport in Africa. Of course up to the 1960's or so we still had electric buses running with overhead electric wires and a pantograph connecting to them.
Regardless it is the start of a new era in the moderen age and I hope it will also open the door for more EV cars too.
