Datally – Find a Free WiFi Network Near You With This Google App
WiFi networks, especially free ones, are always the hardest to find when you actually need them. Now Google has made tracking one down a little easier thanks to a new feature in its data-saving app Datally.
Datally was introduced late last year as a way for Android users to monitor how much data they’re using on their device. The app is primarily geared towards users in developing countries where data comes at a premium, but is useful for anyone who isn’t on an unlimited plan.
The app will show you what apps are using the most data on your phone as well as what apps you don’t use are still chipping away at your data limits. New features added along with that WiFi map include the ability to set daily data limits on your device as well as a new guest mode so you can control how much data a pal can use on your phone if you let them borrow it.
