Decentralized Slack Alternative Riot Releases its First Stable Version
Remember Riot messenger? It’s a decentralized, encrypted open source messaging software based on the Matrix protocol. About a year ago the French Government banned their diplomats from using WhatsApp and moved them to a securely internally hosted Riot server.
Version 1.0 has brought more than just better looks. One of Riot's claims to fame is its end-to-end encryption which you can manage yourself. And this has alos improved further.
