It’s true that you can’t really go wrong with any of today’s modern flagship phones as far as the cameras are concerned. Sometimes one edges ahead of the others but then the results are different for the next test. I like these side-by-side comparisons as they give you a good feel for what edges ahead on what.
Shockingly the Pixel 5 is still using the same camera hardware as the Pixel 2 (which is good as I still have my Pixel 2 XL) yet it manages to just keep up but it’s at the end of its line now. As with all photography the hardware/software is not everything as some of your technique still counts too.
