Yes we have command shell ones, custom one’s like conky, and we actually do have GUI task managers. But the last mentioned have been getting long in the tooth and needed some overall on the graphics and functionality.
This one is done really nicely with a ton of info in a beautiful interface. It reminds me very much of the look and feel of CAM for Windows, but this runs natively on Linux.
It is a Deb install for Ubuntu and Debian derivatives, and although it is in the AUR for Arch distros, there was a tiny edit I needed to do in the build file to fix a dependency (basically change ‘mesa-utils’ dependency with ‘mesa-demos’).
