I did the overnight transition myself and went through a similar experience a few years back. For me the losing of 14kg (30 pounds) of weight within that first three months was motivation enough to stick with no added sugar. Also, nice to see many restaurants now offering low carb sugar free options on their menus.

My grocery store has had to dramatically increase their supply of real butter and sugar free double cream yoghurt. So I can see the swing in consumer demand already asserting itself.
