The game-changer here is this is a solid 316L Marine Grade Stainless Steel razor finished to high tolerances (not jewellery polished) for only $57.99. The razor comes in a .68 or .84 head gap (latter being slightly more aggressive) but I see you can also get an optional .84 base plate for $29.99 or order the .68 head on its own as well. There is a choice of six different handles. Each razor has its own unique serial number.
They are producing these razors at a rate of 500-1,000 per month until demand is met, which shows they are selling pretty well. Yes, it’s not as cheap as the worlds most popular Merkur 34C razor, but the Merkur is chrome plated and a mild shave razor. The RazoRiock is a medium-aggressive razor. Another feature of this razor is that the tabs on the sides of the blade do not extend past the edge of the razor.
