I already own the Merkur 34C and the Edwin Jagger DE89 which were the first razors I bought when I started out. Ironically enough after going through quite a few others I still default to using the Merkur 34C as I can shave quite quickly and never have any nicks or cuts – it’s an extremely forgiving razor.
