Ah, the 1990’s saw computing advancing in massive leaps and bounds. Going from beeps to sound, and from Hercules graphics to EGA before we even got to VGA…

In the 1990’s I was enjoying my first palmpilot which was Psion before moving on to two Nokia Communicators (have still got those Nokia’s).

This was long before smartphones were even thought of. But even before the Psion I had an HP41CV calculator which was fully programmable. In fact, I learnt first to program on a Sinclair ZX81 and a HP41CV. My HP is still working 100% after 38 years. Back in the day ‘real engineers’ worked for HP or IBM.
